Expansion of FC Community Series 26: A New Era for Esports Soccer in Asia

FC Community Series 26: Asia's Premier Esports Soccer Tournament

The FC Community Series 26, organized by Sports IT Solutions Co., Ltd., is making waves in the esports world by expanding its reach across four Asian countries: Japan, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Hong Kong. With the increasing popularity of soccer among young audiences in Asia, esports soccer is similarly gaining traction. Until now, major tournaments like the official global event "FC Pro" have predominantly taken place in Europe, North America, and the Middle East, leaving little room for Asian soccer gamers to shine.

This season marks the third for the FC Community Series in Japan, which aims to enhance the competitive landscape across Asia and develop a robust FC community that nurtures world-class players. The ultimate goal is to produce champions who can excel on the global stage.

Upcoming Tournament Schedule

The series kicks off with open qualifiers today, October 24, 2025, in Japan, and continues on October 25, 2025, in other Asian regions. The final qualifiers in Japan are set for November 8, 2025, and the championship will take place on November 24, 2025, at the JFA Soccer Cultural Creation Hub, located in Tokyo Dome City.

Tournament Format

The format for the FCS26 has remained consistent compared to previous years, featuring six domestic tournaments with three stages: open qualifiers, final qualifiers, and championship. However, there are two notable changes for this season:
1. The third and sixth tournaments will be determined through "online final qualifiers" rather than having a live championship.
2. Winners of each series will earn a spot at either the "FCS26 Asia Winter Final" or the "FCS26 Asia Summer Final."
