Gravis Fes. 2026: A Celebration of Cheer Dance

The stage is set for Gravis Fes. 2026, one of Japan's largest cheer dance events, scheduled to take place over three days from August 10 to 12, 2026, at the Pacifico Yokohama Conference Center. This event promises to be a thrilling platform for cheer dancers from across Japan and even overseas. Organized by Gravis Co., Ltd., a prominent cheer dance school operating over 200 locations with more than 3,000 students nationwide, this festival seeks to unite all participants involved in cheer.

Event Highlights

In its previous edition, Gravis Fes. attracted 283 teams and roughly 2,700 performers, with an audience of about 6,000 attendees. For 2026, the organizers aim for an even grander celebration, encouraging numerous teams to participate. It doesn't matter if you're new to the event or a veteran performer; everyone is welcome to join and share in the cheer.

Call for Performers

Gravis is inviting external cheer teams to showcase their dance routines during the festival. The objective is to create a vibrant and inclusive celebration dedicated to cheer dance. The event will include performances of various genres including cheerleading, hip-hop, and jazz. Participants can perform for 1 minute and 30 seconds up to 3 minutes, including entry and exit time totaling an approximate of 4 minutes.

Eligibility: Participants must be aged 3 and above (born before April 1, 2023).

• - A maximum of 25 members per team will be allowed, with special arrangements available for teams with fewer than five members upon request.

The participation fee is set at 6,200 JPY per person for teams with five or more members. Additional viewing fees apply for time outside performance periods.

Application Information

• - Total Teams Accepted: Approximately 20 teams. There is no limit on the number of teams from the same organization; each entry can include a maximum of five teams.
• - Application Deadline: June 15, 2026. The registration might close earlier once the capacity is reached.
