CotoCera Reaches 10,000 Members, Celebrates with Special Campaigns

CotoCera Reaches Major Milestone

CotoCera, a medical service comparison and support site operated by MC Healthcare, based in Minato, Tokyo, has recently hit a remarkable milestone of 10,000 registered members as of December 3, 2025. This achievement comes after approximately one year of trial operations followed by its formal launch in July 2022. The platform has been extensively utilized by various medical professionals, including healthcare executives, physicians, nurses, and other allied health workers, and it continues to see an increase in users.

As part of the celebration of this milestone, CotoCera is launching a special campaign, offering advantageous email newsletter advertising opportunities for members.

Supporting Healthcare Optimization and Digital Transformation

Currently, hospitals are exploring multiple digital services to enhance daily operations, including smartphone applications, nurse call systems, appointment scheduling tools, patient intake solutions, attendance management, security systems, Robotic Process Automation (RPA), and inpatient medical expense guarantees. The effective use of these tools is becoming increasingly important from the perspectives of operational efficiency and work style reform; however, there are significant challenges faced on the ground.

The pressing issue in many healthcare environments is the need to maintain the quality of care while managing limited personnel effectively. This necessitates the selection of systems that fit the needs of the healthcare setting. Yet, finding the best services among the multitude of options is far from easy, often hindered by information imbalances, difficulty in comparisons, and unclear pricing.

CotoCera has been developed to address these challenges in medical settings, aiming to create an environment conducive to informed decision-making and selection without bias towards specific products or vendors. By organizing information independently and clarifying necessary comparison axes, CotoCera supports the decision-making process. It also emphasizes providing clear and understandable information by sharing case studies and practical applications from other healthcare institutions.

The Meaning Behind the Name “CotoCera”

The name CotoCera reflects the desire for healthcare institutions to actively confront and select solutions to issues and operational improvements, thereby facilitating organizational transformation. For those involved in delivering better healthcare under daily pressures, the choice of what and how to implement new solutions is crucial. CotoCera aims to be the platform that delivers necessary information and perspectives in an organized manner to support these decisions.

MC Healthcare has traditionally focused on supporting the optimization of procurement and operation in the realm of medical materials and devices. As we have contributed to enhancing logistics and purchasing efficiency, we have also witnessed a significant shift in support needs in recent years.

The demand from the field increasingly transcends merely procuring good products; it extends to re-evaluating operational methodologies. Enhancements in work practices, establishing systems for information sharing, strengthening internal cooperation, and digitizing operations represent a pivotal shift from material support to conceptual support. This need has led to the launch of CotoCera.

CotoCera aspires to provide discernible information and decision-making materials that enable healthcare institutions to confidently select what is best for their needs. Our role is to create an environment where busy healthcare personnel can navigate their options with ease and assurance.
