The 1999 Exhibition: Reverberations of a Forgotten Day Extended Hours and New Merchandise

The 1999 Exhibition: Memories of a Day That Never Existed

The captivating '1999 Exhibition: Memories of a Day That Never Existed' is currently running and has gained immense popularity, leading to an extension of its opening hours. This exhibition introduces an original character called 'Shumatsu no Shoujo,' or 'The Girl of the End,' designed by the talented rising manga artist Kokozo, under the production of Tiger Hara, known for exploding onto the scene with his Three Kingdoms LINE stickers.

This exhibition's special LINE stickers feature 40 illustrations that showcase various scenes from everyday conversations, encapsulating the essence of the narrative portrayed in the exhibition. Fans can immerse themselves in these charming designs, which are perfect for enhancing daily chats with friends and loved ones.

In addition to the LINE stickers, the exhibition will launch a line of unique merchandise featuring 'Shumatsu no Shoujo,' available from July 18 at the exhibition goods area located in Roppongi Museum. These items will include a sticker set comprising three designs priced at 990 yen (including tax) and a clear file priced at 600 yen. Both products are crafted with particular attention to detail, ensuring not only their visual appeal but also an engaging packaging design to attract buyers.

One of the most intriguing questions posed through the merchandise is captured in the slogan, "Wouldn't you like to see the end of the world?" This provocative statement ties together the enigmatic theme of the exhibition while inviting visitors to engage with the content more deeply.

The LINE sticker illustrations symbolize a return to 'moments that never took place,' encouraging nostalgia and reflection amidst a backdrop of imaginative storytelling. Remember the days when 'Shumatsu no Shoujo' was featured in comic strips and collaborated with various snacks? These memories can now be relived through the stickers, which prompt conversations reminiscent of a bygone era.

Additionally, the official exhibition website has been transformed into a set of exclusive stickers that fans can purchase starting July 20, further enriching their experience with the exhibition's theme. This website, which launched on June 6, quickly attracted buzz and interest from fans and visitors alike.

Starting now, it will remain open until 8 PM on Sundays and Holidays until August 31, allowing attendees to experience the exhibition during the cozy summer evenings.
