SINEXCEL Successfully Completes Shipment for Major Energy Storage Project in Chile

SINEXCEL Completes Shipment for 100MW/400MWh Energy Storage Project in Chile

On October 13, 2026, SINEXCEL (stock number 300693.SZ) confirmed the successful shipment of all StellaON 1250K power conversion systems to RelyEZ Energy Storage Technology Co., Ltd. This delivery is part of a substantial 100 MW/400 MWh battery energy storage project set against the harsh conditions of Atacama, Chile. This new energy storage system is designed to charge during periods of low demand and discharge during peak demand times, which plays a vital role in enhancing grid flexibility and improving project profitability.

Timely Delivery Ensures Smooth Project Progress

For large-scale international projects like this one, it is critical to maintain closely coordinated schedules for production, inspections, and shipments to align with on-site construction timelines. SINEXCEL met its full power conversion system (PCS) order on schedule, aiding RelyEZ Energy in protecting crucial timelines related to transportation, installation, commissioning, and connecting to the grid.

Delay in even one shipment can compress construction timelines significantly. Thus, Sathya, a project manager, emphasized that this coordinated delivery approach reduces uncertainty and assists local teams in planning their subsequent steps effectively.

StellaON 1250K: Designed for Harsh Environments

The StellaON 1250K power conversion system is engineered specifically to meet the demanding environmental conditions typical of Atacama, which includes extreme heat, dust, and sand. Capable of operating efficiently across a vast temperature range, from -40°C to 60°C, the system boasts a peak efficiency of 99% and a rated-power efficiency of 98.5%. It maintains full output at temperatures up to 55°C, significantly reducing the power derating typically associated with high-heat environments.

Such high conversion efficiency limits energy losses during repeated charge and discharge cycles, thus ensuring stable operation and improved long-term returns. Additionally, the system has attained an IP65 rating, indicating its robustness against dust ingress and water exposure, further making it a reliable option for energy operations in challenging conditions.

Enhancing Local Support Across the Americas

Following the delivery, the focus will shift to on-site installation and commissioning of the systems. SINEXCEL takes pride in its dedicated after-sales team stationed in Latin America, supplemented by seven service centers across the Americas. This structure assures technical queries are quickly addressed, often within 30 minutes, and guarantees round-the-clock support, along with a seven-day spare parts provision.

SINEXCEL has a notable track record, having deployed over 17 GW of energy storage solutions across more than 5,000 projects globally and partnered with over 600 collaborators in over 60 countries and regions. With the completion of this shipment, SINEXCEL is set to continue expanding its presence and operations throughout Latin America, thereby offering unwavering assistance to clients throughout the lifespan of their projects.
