2026 Japan Pharmaceutical Group Academic Conference

The Japan Pharmaceutical Co., headquartered in Minato, Tokyo, is set to host the "2026 Japan Pharmaceutical Group Academic Conference" on September 27, 2026, at Bell Salle Shibuya First in Shibuya, Tokyo. This event aims to enhance the expertise and communication skills of pharmaceutical professionals, including pharmacists, medical staff, and registered dietitians.

In response to popular demand, the registration deadline for general attendees, including healthcare professionals, businesses, and students, has been extended to September 4, 2026 at 23:59. We warmly welcome everyone to participate in this significant event.

About the Japan Pharmaceutical Group Academic Conference

Since 2016, the Japan Pharmaceutical Group has been organizing annual academic conferences to address questions identified in daily operations, fostering a platform to share efforts and successes within the pharmacy setting. This conference serves as a means for professionals to enhance their expertise and presentation skills. Our commitment to fostering a proactive attitude toward presenting research and submitting papers is backed by our exceptional educational and training programs, often regarded as the best in the industry. Conference Theme and Format

The theme for the 2026 conference is "Deepening Pharmacy - Beyond the Pharmacy." It will be conducted in a hybrid format, combining onsite and online participation (note that only onsite attendance is available for external participants). This year marks the resumption of accepting attendees from outside the organization after a 7-year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Expect to see 19 oral presentations determined through a regional selection process and 13 poster presentations chosen according to internal criteria. Special lectures and exhibition booths featuring employees from the indirect departments and group companies will also be part of the program. Furthermore, we are honored to have Professor Hiroshi Okada from Kyoto University as a keynote speaker, who leads health support research projects in pharmacy.

Registration Process

• - Interested participants (medical professionals, businesses, students, etc.) can register via the provided form.

• - Media representatives can register here, with a closing date of September 13, 2026, at 23:59.

• - Participants from this conference, notably pharmacists, may be eligible for training certification according to standards of the G13 Pharmacological Seminar for Lifelong Learning.

• - Due to the expected high applicant volume, a lottery may determine participation. Notifications will be sent via email regarding attendance status.

• - As part of personal identification, please ensure you bring a business card or ID verification on the conference day.

• - Recording and videography in the venue are prohibited for attendees who are not media representatives.
