CRAFTSMAN and Joe Gibbs Racing Join Forces for a Good Cause: Racing for a Miracle Program

CRAFTSMAN's Support for Children's Miracle Network Hospitals

CRAFTSMAN®, a well-known brand under Stanley Black & Decker, has partnered again with the Ace Hardware Foundation and NASCAR driver Christopher Bell from Joe Gibbs Racing for the 19th Annual Racing for a Miracle program. This charitable initiative supports Children's Miracle Network (CMN) Hospitals, including the Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital in Chicago. With a commitment to improve the lives of children facing health challenges, this year CRAFTSMAN is donating a generous $100,000 to the Ace Hardware Foundation in support of CMN Hospitals.

A Legacy of Giving

Since its inception in 2006, CRAFTSMAN and its parent company have contributed over $1.9 million to the Racing for a Miracle program. The funds raised through this initiative help provide essential treatments and healthcare services to children and their families at 170 CMN Hospitals located across the United States and Canada. Tony Merritt, Vice President of Sponsorships for Stanley Black & Decker, expressed the company's pride in being part of a legacy that has positively impacted countless families. He shared, “For nearly 20 years, we have seen firsthand the impact Racing for a Miracle has had on children and their families. Their stories, strength, and perseverance continue to inspire us.”

Junior Crew Members

As part of this year's festivities, ten children from Lurie Children's Hospital will serve as honorary junior crew members for NASCAR driver Christopher Bell. Their unique artworks will be proudly displayed on Bell's No. 20 race car during the upcoming NASCAR event on July 6. This initiative not only provides these children with an unforgettable experience but also raises awareness of the critical healthcare needs they face.

Promotion at Ace Hardware

In a related initiative, Ace Hardware is celebrating CRAFTSMAN's ongoing support for CMN Hospitals by offering customers a 20% discount on select CRAFTSMAN V20* power tools, outdoor power equipment, and accessories. This special promotion will run from June 25 through July 31, 2025, in stores and online, encouraging DIY enthusiasts to get involved in supporting this charitable cause.
