Embrace Fermentation Culture Every Monday at FARM8 STAND
Starting May 26, 2025, FARM8 STAND, located on the second floor of Ecute Edition Ochanomizu, will launch a unique initiative called 'Hacco Monday.' This weekly event is designed to promote the rich fermentation culture of Niigata by offering fantastic deals every Monday.
What is Hacco Monday?
During Hacco Monday, customers can purchase premium Daiginjo sake-kasu or Junmai Daiginjo kasu from local Niigata breweries at an unbeatable price of just 200 yen. Additionally, all fermented drink offerings, including the soothing 'Sake-Kasu Shake' and 'Gentle Ama-zake,' will come with a discount of 100 yen, making it the perfect way to kick off the week with the benefits of fermentation.
Bringing Fermentation to Your Table
The goal of Hacco Monday is to make it more accessible for people to enjoy the exquisite Daiginjo sake-kasu or Junmai Daiginjo kasu carefully crafted by Niigata’s skilled brewers. The initiative aims to introduce the gentle effects of fermentation into everyday life, promoting a balanced lifestyle that enhances both body and mind. The sake-kasu available will include premium selections such as Tsunan Brewery's Daiginjo sake-kasu, Okufu Brewery's, and Niigata Meijo's Junmai Daiginjo kasu, as well as sake-kasu produced from the locally grown Uonuma Koshihikari rice—each one a testament to the painstaking craftsmanship of the region.
