Cohen & Co Community Foundation Distributes $100,000 in Grants to 28 Nonprofits Across the U.S.

Creating a Positive Impact Through Community Grants

Cohen & Co, a renowned nationally ranked accounting firm, is thrilled to unveil the recipients of its inaugural Grant Application Program, which is generously funded by the Cohen & Co Community Foundation. This ambitious initiative allocated a total of $100,000 to 28 nonprofit organizations across the United States in 2025, demonstrating the firm’s commitment to social responsibility and community engagement.

A Source of Pride for Cohen & Co

Chris Bellamy, CEO of Cohen & Co, expressed his enthusiasm for launching the Grant Application Program, recognizing it as not only a point of pride for the firm but also as a means to enhance the impact on the communities they serve. "This program is meaningful for us as it empowers our employees to contribute to community support. We believe it’s essential for our team to voice their ideas on how our firm can better serve our communities," he explained.

This innovative program saw grant requests come from various offices, service lines, and levels within the firm throughout the year. The 12-member peer-led Grants Committee was responsible for evaluating all applications and making recommendations for the funding allocations, which were ultimately decided by the Foundation’s trustees.
