Habanos Group Reports Record Revenue in 2024



In a significant announcement made during the XXV Festival del Habano, Habanos Group, the global leader in premium tobacco, has declared that its revenue for 2024 reached an impressive $827 million. This figure marks a substantial 16% increase compared to the previous year, illustrating the brand's enduring appeal and market strength. The driving factors behind this achievement include innovation in product offerings and the timeless quality of Habanos tobacco, widely regarded as some of the best worldwide.

The co-presidents of Habanos, S.A., Maritza Carrillo González and Luis Sánchez-Harguindey Pardo de Vera, expressed their enthusiasm about the results: "The success of Habanos in 2024 reflects the international recognition of our unique heritage, the strength and prestige of our brands, and the passion of everyone involved in the captivating world of Habanos."

Habanos Group reported that the top five markets contributing to its sales growth were China, Spain, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, and Germany. Europe emerged as the leading market, accounting for 54% of the total sales revenue, followed by Asia-Pacific at 24%, America at 12%, and Africa and the Middle East at 10%.

2024 was particularly dynamic for Habanos with the introduction of 33 new products based on the company's commitment to quality and tradition. A standout highlight was the Trinidad year, featuring exceptional products like the Trinidad Cabildos Edición Limitada 2024 and Trinidad Robustos Extra. Other notable releases included the Montecristo Brillantes Año Nuevo Chino del Dragón and Cohiba Vistosos, along with limited editions such as the H. Upmann Magnum Finite Edición Limitada 2024.

During the festival event, Habanos introduced an exciting limited production Romeo y Julieta Amantes Vitola to celebrate the brand's 150th anniversary. This special vitola comes in an elegant box of 20 and a gift pack of 5, symbolizing the enduring love between cigar aficionados and the iconic brand. Concurrently, the H. Upmann brand unveiled its second Gran Reserva with the H. Upmann Magnum 50 Gran Reserva Cosecha 2019, a rare selection meant to enhance the brand's refined experience.

The grand finale of the festival will feature a gala celebrating the 15th anniversary of the Línea Behike by Cohiba. Attendees can anticipate the debut of the Behike 58, further solidifying its status as a luxury brand.
