It Coffee, a beloved name in the coffee industry, will launch its latest store in Hachobori on December 20, 2025. Having started in Daikanyama, the brand is expanding its presence in Tokyo. The new store will be their fourth location and promises to provide exceptional specialty coffee, including carefully roasted single-origin beans and exclusive Hachobori store menus.

Nestled within the office building 'owns Hachobori,' this new outlet aims to integrate coffee into the daily lives of office workers, becoming a community hub for nearby residents.

Commitment to Store Design

The Hachobori store will feature a spacious environment with a total of 32 seats designed to accommodate various needs. Among them, 19 seats are equipped with power outlets, making it perfect for those who wish to work while enjoying their coffee. The store will also have counter seating for quiet contemplation and comfortable sofas for relaxation. The furniture is crafted from natural wood sourced from Hokkaido, ensuring a calming and natural atmosphere, adaptable for both office workers and neighborhood visitors alike.

Historically, Hachobori thrived during the Edo period, known for its proximity to the town magistrate’s office and as a residential area for its police forces. Even today, this area is along the lush Kamishima River and features beautiful parks, creating a harmonious balance between urban life and nature.

At the main counter of the Hachobori store, a unique panel created using a traditional urushi lacquer technique illustrates the flowing waters, symbolizing the vibrant interactions among people that have characterized Hachobori's lively history. The interior design integrates elements of light, water, and plants, creating a space where visitors can gather and feel a deep sense of connection.

The entrance to the store provides a warm welcome, letting in bright light and vivid greenery through large glass windows. It promises to be a comforting refuge for all visitors.
