Super Hotel Tokyo's Special Summer Breakfast Event
Super Hotel, a leading hospitality brand with 177 locations both domestically and internationally, is excited to announce the second edition of its "Morning Kids' Café," scheduled to take place from August 27 to August 29, 2025. This initiative, aimed specifically at students in elementary and middle school residing in Kita Ward, Tokyo, will allow them to enjoy a complimentary hotel breakfast buffet as a special treat during their summer vacation.
The concept of the "Morning Kids' Café" was conceived by Jo Wakamatsu, the general manager of Super Hotel Tokyo Akabane Station South Exit. This initiative emerges from the hotel’s Innovation Committee, which intends to ensure that children who may not have a chance to eat breakfast or feel isolated in the morning can start their day with a smile and a nutritious meal. Following the positive feedback from parents and children during the first event held in March 2025, the hotel decided to host a second event during the summer holidays, reinforcing its commitment to community support.
From 6:30 AM to 8:30 AM on each day of the event, a limited number of three groups will be welcomed to the hotel for a delightful breakfast experience. The initiative highlights the importance of breakfast for children in their growth stages, ensuring they not only receive essential nutrition but also have the opportunity to connect with others. With most children's cafes operating in the evening, this breakfast event at Super Hotel uniquely addresses a gap in available morning meal services.
Innovation Committee’s Role
Founded in February 2024, Super Hotel's Innovation Committee aims to foster further innovation by providing monthly discussions among key personnel, including President Kensaku Yamamoto, managers from major hotel branches, and headquarters team members. Utilizing a method known as backcasting, they strategize the path towards realizing Super Hotel's visionary goals while brainstorming actionable projects.
Through the initiatives led by the Innovation Committee, Super Hotel strives to continually innovate and embody its vision, enhancing the overall guest experience and contributing positively to the community it serves.
