The Entrepreneurs' Organization (EO) Okinawa Chapter is set to host two significant open events in October and November 2025, aimed at fostering global entrepreneurship from the roots of Okinawa's unique culture. This initiative aligns with EO's mission to unleash the potential of entrepreneurs globally, encouraging them to drive social change while sharing knowledge and experiences.

October Open Event: Bridging Cultures in Business


Date: October 15, 2025
Time: 18:00 - 21:00 (Registration starts at 17:30)

In the first event of this series, esteemed speakers will converge to discuss the theme, "Okinawa Style x Global Management - Changing the World from Local Culture." Among the featured speakers are:
  • - Tsukasa Taira, President of Sun Music and representative of Taira Soba
  • - Shigenobu Asato, Chairman of Simba Holdings
  • - Tomoko Omori, an entrepreneur based in New York with connections to EO New York

During this session, Okinawa's local business leaders and innovative entrepreneurs from New York will explore how cultural values can be a powerful foundation for global competitiveness. The conversation aims to uncover strategies for blending local strengths with global challenges, giving attendees insights into future regional and international business landscapes.

Networking Opportunities


A special networking session will allow participants to enjoy local Okinawan cuisine prepared by Chef Hasshi, featuring his signature dishes, alongside a variety of drinks. This is a unique opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals, share ideas, and foster personal and professional relationships.

November Open Event: Redefining Leadership Through Compassion


Date: November 19, 2025
Time: 18:00 - 21:00 (Registration starts at 17:30)
Venue: Hotel Collective, Naha City, Okinawa

The second event will feature Hideto Yoshioka, founder of Japan Heart and pediatric surgeon renowned for his efforts in providing medical care in underserved areas. With a mission to deliver healthcare to those in need, he has significantly impacted communities in Myanmar and Cambodia, where he raised cancer survival rates from 10% to 50%.

The theme for this evening is "Revisiting the Roots of Leadership: Questions from the Medical Field." By sharing his remarkable journey and stories from the medical frontlines, Yoshioka will challenge attendees to consider profound questions about purpose and service in their lives and careers. This engaging lecture will inspire participants to reflect on their values and the essence of leadership in their respective fields.

Networking and Refreshments


Following the talk, guests will enjoy a meal and drinks provided by Hotel Collective, marking an excellent occasion for continued conversation and connection.

Entry Fee: ¥11,000 (including tax)
