Job Travel and SP Research Institute Form Strategic Partnership
On November 4, 2025, Job Travel Co. and SP Research Institute announced a strategic partnership aimed at transforming employee engagement and enthusiasm into quantifiable data that aligns with business results. This groundbreaking collaboration is set to visualize the transformation of employee consciousness through cross-border experiences, providing new value metrics in the realm of human capital management.
Objectives of the Partnership
The primary goal of this alliance is to create a joint program that quantifies employee enthusiasm and connects it to business outcomes. By doing so, both companies aim to generate quantitative metrics that can be utilized in human capital disclosure. This new approach is expected to reshape how organizations view their investment in employee experiences.
Overview of Collaborative Efforts
The partnership will combine the expertise of both companies to develop a new model for workforce development across three key areas:
1.
Quantification of Enthusiasm (Job Travel Co.): Through cross-border experiences, Job Travel will collect data on how enthusiasm and employee autonomy change within workplace settings.
2.
Connecting Experience to Business Value (SP Research Institute): SP Research will assess the broad skills acquired by employees through these experiences, linking these changes to productivity, performance, and ROI, thereby making the impact on management visible.
3.
Optimizing Matching for Growth (Joint Efforts): Utilizing data analytics, the partnership will predict which employees will benefit most from specific experiences and develop a matching algorithm that maximizes the efficiency of human capital investments.
This partnership aims to create a cycle where “changes in enthusiasm lead to skill acquisition, which in turn boosts productivity and performance, ultimately enhancing corporate value.” This is set to evolve the concept of “subjective cross-border experiences” into a reproducible growth model.
Future Developments
By the end of 2025, both companies plan to conduct a pilot program involving 50 to 100 participants, gathering and modeling correlation data between changes in enthusiasm and business performance indicators. Following this, they will expand services to include the “Cross-Border ROI Report” which will support companies in disclosing human capital in a manner that captures its essence.
Upcoming Experience Event
A 75-minute real-time online demonstration session will be held on November 11, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 1:15 PM. This session will give participants a tangible experience of the combination of job definitions, cross-border experiences, and human capital data.

Statement from Leadership
Tsubasa Tanaka, CEO of Job Travel Co.: “The cross-border experiences we provide have been a powerful driver in fostering employee autonomy. By combining this with SP Research's expertise in skill visualization, we anticipate evolving these experiences from being just ‘good interactions’ to becoming ‘investments in corporate growth.’”
Yoshiyuki Tamio, CEO of SP Research Institute: “The essence of human capital management is how to leverage the skills that employees possess for management. Historically, concepts like 'enthusiasm' and 'autonomy' have often been discussed subjectively, making it challenging to articulate the investment returns to management. Our collaboration with Job Travel represents the first step in quantifying the changes in enthusiasm brought about by experiences.”
