Beijing to Host Global Summit on Smart Agriculture and Irrigation Technology in 2026

Beijing International Irrigation Technology Expo 2026

Set to take place from March 30 to April 1, 2026, the 12th Beijing International Irrigation Technology Exhibition at the China National Convention Center is poised to be a pivotal event in the field of smart agriculture and irrigation technology. This year's expo will coincide with the Beijing International Modern Protected Agriculture Expo, offering attendees a comprehensive look at trends and advancements in the agricultural sector.

As China's premier exhibition in this domain, the event serves as a convergence point for global innovations in smart farming and irrigation technologies. Spanning over 30,000 square meters, the expo will host 800 exhibitors from 33 countries and regions, exhibiting cutting-edge devices and technologies. Notably, 20 leading international companies, including Fortune 500 firms, will participate in this esteemed event.

The expo is expected to attract more than 35,000 professional buyers, comprising key procurement representatives from provincial ministries dealing with agriculture and rural development, agricultural reclamation groups, and operation centers from major irrigation districts throughout China. Additionally, delegations from renowned international institutions like the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) will be present, showcasing the global interest in sustainable agricultural practices.

To bolster international cooperation, the expo will feature prominent events, including the International Special Promotion Session for Agricultural Irrigation Systems and the Global Procurement Matchmaking Conference. These sessions will facilitate partnerships among leading agricultural nations, offering companies pathways to expand international collaborations and meet overseas procurement needs.

The accompanying congress will host multiple high-profile discussions featuring distinguished guests, such as senior officials from China’s Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, scholars from the Chinese Academy of Engineering, and industry experts. They will provide insights into the future of agricultural technology, focusing on how innovation can meet the challenges posed by climate change and the demands for sustainable farming practices.

Exhibit space is currently up for reservation, and registration for attendees along with promotional opportunities are also available. The organizers express their eagerness to welcome participants at the 2026 ITE.
