Huawei Unveils the Comprehensive Security Solution Xinghe AI Campus at HUAWEI CONNECT 2025

During the recent HUAWEI CONNECT 2025 event, Huawei introduced its groundbreaking solution known as the Xinghe AI Campus, setting a new standard in campus security. This innovative offering blends advanced AI technologies to extend digital security measures into the physical realm, enabling comprehensive protection across entire campuses.

Shawn Zhao, the President of the Campus Network Domain at Huawei's Data Communication Product Line, highlighted the necessity of evolving campus networks beyond traditional connectivity. According to Zhao, modern campus networks are becoming essential platforms that not only connect but also detect a myriad of elements. With the growing demands for security integration, there is a pressing need to enhance internal defenses that safeguard digital domains while simultaneously monitoring people, objects, and environments to tackle physical security challenges.

The Xinghe AI Campus solution addresses multiple aspects of security including asset security, transmission security, spatial security, and privacy security.

Asset Security

With an AI-based endpoint clustering system and a robust fingerprint database, the solution offers comprehensive asset identification for endpoints. This capability allows for immediate traffic detection; it identifies abnormal behaviors on endpoints within just 30 seconds and can automatically control these incidents in a mere second, providing businesses with full visibility and control over their assets.

Transmission Security

Huawei's unique Wi-Fi Shield technology responds to Wi-Fi security concerns by employing AI-based signal encoding to mitigate the risk of data interception at the physical layer. Moreover, end-to-end MACsec encryption and post-quantum cryptography (PQC) algorithms further secure wired networks. Over 100 governmental and financial institutions globally have adopted these measures to enhance the security of their wireless and wired infrastructures.

Spatial Security

In areas where privacy is paramount and surveillance cameras are absent, Huawei's wireless access point (AP) utilizes Channel State Information (CSI) and AI algorithms to detect minute human movements. This capability enables 24/7 intrusion detection while upholding individual privacy rights.

Privacy Security

Equipped with integrated AI algorithms that match distinct features, Huawei's pioneering AP can effectively thwart hidden cameras, identifying 110 camera models from 62 global brands. This proactive detection system alerts users in real time about concealed cameras operating through Wi-Fi, mobile networks, or local SD storage.

As the landscape of campus security continues to evolve, the protection of network infrastructure is no longer an optional enhancement but a critical necessity. Huawei remains steadfast in its commitment to continuous innovation, fortifying intelligent networks and redefining campus security for the AI era. In doing so, they aim to elevate security protocols that protect both digital and physical spaces effectively.
