On June 10, 2023, Palsystem Tokyo held its 33rd General Meeting at the Keio Plaza Hotel in Shinjuku, Tokyo. This important assembly saw
Yoko Nishimura elected as the new chairperson, marking a significant shift in leadership. The meeting was attended by 496 representatives out of a total of 509, comprising 250 members present in person, 231 by proxy, and 15 via representation. Subsequently, the newly elected board confirmed the new executive structure during the board meeting that followed.
Approval of All Proposals
The gathering successfully approved all proposed agenda items, which included:
1. Approval of the 2024 Business Report
2. Approval of the 2025 Business Plan
3. Election of Board Members
4. Payment of Retirement Benefits to Full-Time Executives
For the fiscal year 2024, Palsystem Tokyo continues to uphold its philosophy centered on creating a society that values food, the earth's environment, and people. This commitment aligns with the
Palsystem Tokyo 2030 Vision, driving the organization towards its outlined goals. As a testament to this commitment, the total business revenue for the year reached
¥88.32 billion, which was an increase of
2.3% compared to the previous year and
3.1% above budgeted expectations. Moreover, the ordinary profit rose to
¥2.168 billion, representing a
10.9% increase year-on-year and an impressive
44.6% surplus against the budget.
Looking ahead to 2025, Palsystem is projecting a total business revenue of
¥87.89 billion, slightly down
0.5% compared to the previous year. During the election, 29 board members and 5 auditors were successfully appointed.
