Florida Realtors® and JARECO Forge Agreement to Enhance Real Estate Collaboration
Strengthening International Ties in Real Estate: Florida Realtors® and Japan-America Real Estate Coalition
In a significant move to deepen international collaboration, Florida Realtors®, the largest professional association in Florida, has inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Japan-America Real Estate Coalition Office (JARECO). This pivotal agreement, signed on October 28, 2025, during a ceremony in Tokyo, establishes a robust framework for cooperation between the two entities, focusing on enhancing business opportunities for real estate professionals in both Florida and Japan.
A New Era of Cooperation
The MoU was signed by Tim Weisheyer, President of Florida Realtors®, and Masayuki Nakagawa, Chairman of JARECO. This partnership aims to promote information exchange, networking, and collaboration among various stakeholders within the real estate sector in both regions. With JARECO serving as the main link between the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) and several major real estate associations in Japan, this agreement is set to create pathways for education, research, and global networking.
Founded in 2013, JARECO represents hundreds of thousands of real estate professionals across Japan and is dedicated to fostering a globally connected real estate community through enhanced collaboration and outreach.
Growing Economic Ties
Florida is increasingly becoming a focal point for global real estate transactions, and this newly established partnership with JARECO will further streamline efforts for Realtors® in both countries.
