Leadership Background



Before assuming his role at ET Holdings, Nakawaki graduated from the Faculty of Engineering at Kyoto University and began his career at the Sony Group, developing technical insights as an engineer. He later joined IBM, where he spent over 20 years driving global business efforts, establishing new ventures, and engaging with AI and advanced technologies’ societal implementation.

Throughout his career, Nakawaki has founded and led four significant organizations, contributing to strategic think tanks, branding, talent acquisition, and innovation initiatives. Additionally, for eight years, he served as an adjunct lecturer at Keio University Business School, focusing on the intersection of digital technology and management, promoting collaboration between academia and the business world.
