NX Group Achieves National Recognition in Driving Competitions

NX Group Triumphs in National Driving Competitions

Nippon Express Holdings, Inc. is celebrating a remarkable achievement as team members have clinched first-place awards at two prestigious national driving competitions held in Japan. This success is a testament to the company's ongoing commitment to investing in its workforce and cultivating a skilled and diverse labor pool, which is essential for enhancing the quality of service on a global scale.

During the 56th National Truck Driver Competition, held on October 26-27, 2024, NX Group excelled, earning ten first-place honors across various categories. Notably, NX members secured the esteemed Prime Minister's Award and dominated three divisions: 4-ton trucks, 11-ton trucks, and trailers, along with a special recognition in the women's division. The event, sponsored by the Japan Trucking Association, took place at the Japan Safe Driving Center in Hitachinaka, Ibaraki Prefecture, and gathered 142 winners from regional competitions to decide Japan’s top truck drivers.

This national recognition follows closely on the heels of their previous victories at the 39th National Forklift Driving Competition, which occurred on September 28-29, 2024, at the Chubu Truck Training Center in Aichi Prefecture. Here, NX Group also showcased their capabilities, winning the general and women’s categories, with six employees laying claim to the top spots overall. These achievements underscore the organization's dedication to safety and skilled driving practices cultivated within the NX community.

The NX Group operates under the motto “Safety First,” implementing an internal certification system designed to maintain high standards for its drivers. In addition, they have established leadership teams at each branch tasked with improving operational quality, raising safety awareness, and enhancing workforce skills globally.
