Experience the Delightful Tea and Cheese Special at Cheese Garden in November 2025

Cheese Garden's Special Tea and Cheese Event

Cheese Garden, part of the Koro Worldwide Group and based in Nasushiobara, Tochigi, is excited to announce a special limited-time café menu titled 'Tea and Cheese.' This collaboration celebrates November 1st as 'Tea Day' and November 11th as 'Cheese Day' and will be available from November 1 to November 18, 2025, at selected café locations.

Why Tea and Cheese?

The origins of these special days are fascinating. Tea Day commemorates a historical event from 1791 when a Japanese man, Kotaro Okada, was invited to a tea party hosted by Empress Catherine the Great in Russia. The Japanese Tea Association designated November 1st as Tea Day in 1983, honoring this significant moment in history.

On the other hand, Cheese Day traces its roots back to the year 700 when Emperor Monmu was said to have sent someone to create “so,” an ancient form of cheese. The Cheese Promotion Council and the Japan Import Cheese Promotion Association established November 11th as Cheese Day in 1992 for broader awareness and celebration of cheese.

The Unique Menu: Tea and Cheese

The exclusive 'Tea and Cheese' menu offers a delightful experience that pairs specially crafted original tea, known as 'Tessa,' with delectable cheese-inspired sweets. Over these 18 days, customers can indulge in three unique cheese dessert drinks alongside special pairing sets at a promotional price.

1. Rare Cheese Cake Drink - Priced at 880 yen (tax included), this drink combines aromatic black tea and a rich rare cheese cake topped with a light whipped cream, caramel syrup, and crunchy cheese cookie bites. It's not only delicious but visually stunning, reminiscent of a parfait.

2. Frozen Caramel & Tea Cheese Drink - For 850 yen, enjoy this frozen delight featuring a smooth milk tea frozen base topped with cheese foam, caramel syrup, and a sprinkle of crunchy roasted sugar chips, blending sweet caramel and milky cheese flavor with subtle tea notes.

3. Caramel & Cheese Milk Tea (Hot) - At 700 yen, this hot option combines caramel-flavored milk tea with a soft cheese foam, providing a warm and comforting drink perfect for the season.

In addition to these drinks, try the pairing set of 'Tessa' tea with the Mini Goyotei Cheesecake or Cheesecake Soft, offer available at a reduced price.
