Huawei's GoPaint Worldwide Creating Activity Celebrates Digital Art in Paris
On December 16, 2024, Huawei's flagship store at Opéra, Paris turned into a vibrant hub of creativity as it hosted the
GoPaint Worldwide Creating Activity. This event, organized by Huawei, featured two talented illustrators,
Mayada and
Kenza, who guided 30 participants through the immersive world of digital art using Huawei's
MatePad tablets.
During the event, participants were introduced to drawing techniques and the
GoPaint app, which was specially designed to exploit the features of Huawei MatePad series. Under the artists' mentorship, attendees created unique pieces of art, culminating in a personalized graphic printed on a tote bag, a tangible memento of their creative journey. This initiative not only fostered a hands-on learning environment but also showcased the practical applications of Huawei’s latest technology.
The
GoPaint application is a powerful and intuitive platform for digital painting, providing users with over 150 pre-set brushes and more than 80 settings to explore their artistic talents. It allows for expressive brush strokes that closely mimic the feel of working on paper, significantly enhancing the creative experience. Among its innovative features are brushes like ‘
splatter’ and ‘
fluid’, which help users create dynamic effects and textures, adding depth to their works. For instance, the splatter brush can create striking ink splash effects with an easy maneuver of the stylus, enriching the interactive feel of digital art creation.
Participants at the event had the unique opportunity to experiment with the
HUAWEI MatePad Pro 12.2 and
HUAWEI MatePad 12X, showcasing the tablets'
PaperMatte display technology, which delivers a natural paper-like experience. This display creates an engaging environment for creativity, making writing and drawing feel fluid and authentic.
The flagship store has been a cultural landmark in Paris since its opening in 2020, regularly hosting a range of enriching experiences beyond just digital painting. These include exclusive artistic presentations based on the GoPaint app, photography workshops using Huawei's
XMAGE technology, and sports events featuring international ambassador
Sir Mo Farah. Through such initiatives, Huawei aims to blend art, technology, and sports, continuously enhancing user engagement and experience.
Moreover, the store not only fosters creativity but also prides itself on delivering comprehensive after-sales service. With a dedicated team available to assist customers from Monday to Saturday, Huawei ensures that all queries are promptly addressed, further establishing its commitment to customer satisfaction.
As Huawei continues to innovate in the tech space, its focus on integrating art and digital experiences serves to inspire communities worldwide. The GoPaint initiative highlights Huawei's commitment to nurturing creativity and providing platforms for artistic expression.
