Convene Hospitality Group Opens Its Newest Venue at Soho: 555 Broadway

Convene Hospitality Group Unveils New SoHo Flagship

Convene Hospitality Group (CHG), a prominent name in lifestyle meeting and event spaces, has proudly opened its latest venue at 555 Broadway in SoHo, New York City. This significant addition to their portfolio represents their commitment to providing top-notch facilities for meetings and events.

Spanning an impressive 32,000 square feet, the newly launched Convene 555 Broadway is situated on the second floor of the historic Scholastic Building, ideally located between Prince and Spring Streets. This prime location enables the venue to effectively capture the artistic essence of SoHo, known for its vibrant culture and creative spirit.

A Creative Space Inspired by SoHo

Designed in collaboration with boutique design studio Marlo + Kroft, Convene 555 Broadway reflects the artistic vibe of the neighborhood. With influences drawn from SoHo’s famed artist lofts, the venue features seven uniquely crafted meeting spaces, ranging from a spacious main reception hall to specialized breakout rooms and flexible galleries that cater to various events, such as product demonstrations and workshops.

Ryan Simonetti, the President and CEO of CHG, expressed his excitement about this new opening, stating, "The launch of Convene 555 Broadway marks our 16th location in New York City, a place that holds a special place in our hearts. We’re proud to contribute to the dynamic environment of SoHo, where heritage meets innovation." The venue aims to meet the increasing demand for commercial real estate that serves as platforms for creativity and connection.

Architectural Brilliance

The interior design at Convene 555 Broadway showcases a modern interpretation of Neoclassical architecture, harmonizing contemporary elements with the building's literary heritage. The design employs raw materials such as concrete and wood, complemented by clear geometric shapes and striking colors. Notable details, like structural columns draped in a signature brick red trim, pay homage to the building's original architect, Aldo Rossi.

The venue embodies an open loft design philosophy, featuring high ceilings, large windows, and an abundance of natural light, which contributes to a generous and inviting atmosphere. The exposed brick, beams, and concrete floors create a balance against vintage architecture elements, invoking the craftsmanship associated with traditional bookmaking.

Tailored Hospitality Experience

CHG's philosophy revolves around providing comprehensive hospitality solutions tailored to each unique event. Convene 555 Broadway offers a dedicated on-site hospitality team that supports clients in every stage of event planning and execution. Additionally, the venue boasts immersive branding opportunities that allow clients to customize the space with their logos and messages, ensuring a personalized experience for attendees.

The venue is also equipped with advanced A/V technology, enabling seamless hybrid and live event possibilities. Furthermore, a chef-driven culinary program guarantees that guests can enjoy fresh, seasonal catering crafted by Executive Chefs.

Brian Holland, the Senior Vice President of Real Estate at CHG, commented, "SoHo not only hosts iconic brands but also acts as a hub for creative energy. We believe that 555 Broadway is the perfect venue to accommodate the needs of modern businesses while providing a high-touch hospitality experience."

With this launch, CHG continues to demonstrate its leadership within the hospitality industry, expanding its portfolio that includes other notable brands like etc.venues and NeueHouse. Looking ahead, Convene 555 Broadway positions itself among the leading event destinations in New York City, ready to serve clients and bring their visions to life.
