International Collaborations Accelerate Sustainable Food Ecosystems Across Asia

Sustainable Food Ecosystem Development in Asia

In a significant move towards fostering sustainable food practices across the Asia-Pacific region, Sustainable Food Asia, headquartered in Minato, Tokyo, has successfully signed memoranda of understanding (MoUs) with major partners during the Sustainable Food Camp 2025 (SFC2025) held at Resorts World Awana in Malaysia on April 22, 2025. The partners include Malaysia's Genting Group, China's Zebrafish Capital, and Taiwan's HAOSHi ACCELERATOR.

These MoUs are aimed at bolstering support for next-generation innovators in the agri-food tech sectors, connecting ecosystems across Japan and various Asian countries to promote a collaborative sustainable food industry. The event showcases the evolution from the inaugural SFC2023, which included participants from Southeast Asia, to SFC2024 that saw collaboration with Korea and Turkey, and now SFC2025 further expands partnerships into East Asia, strengthening the overarching ecosystem and broadening cross-regional cooperative potential.
