New Visions for the Future: The 4th International Consumer Goods Fair in China and CEE Regions

On May 22, 2025, the 4th China-CEEC Expo and International Consumer Goods Fair made its debut in Ningbo, Zhejiang Province. This year's theme, "New Visions for the Future," has attracted more than 15,000 professionals from 72 countries and regions. The event is poised to exceed an impressive 10 billion yuan in intended purchases from Central and Eastern European nations.

Spanning 80,000 square meters, the exhibition is segmented into two primary areas: one showcases the countries of Central and Eastern Europe, while the other focuses on export consumer goods. In the CEE section, a dedicated 20,000 square meters hosts over 400 exhibitors displaying approximately 8,000 unique products, including Czech beer, Slovene honey, Hungarian down products, and skiing equipment from Slovenia.

Conversely, more than 1,000 Chinese enterprises are featured in the export consumer goods area, presenting high-quality consumer products and smart technologies. This allows international buyers to experience an engaging technological exhibition, illuminating the forefront of Chinese innovation.

The fair is not only about showcasing products; a series of events will enhance business networking and intergovernmental exchanges. Among these, key conferences, such as the Joint Meeting of Chambers of Commerce from China and CEE and the 7th Meeting on customs and inspection cooperation, aim to deepen regulatory alignment.

Another notable parallel event is the 2025 Forum for Mayors of Cities in China and the CEE, which will discuss new urban management paradigms. Additionally, the International Regatta of China and the CEE will kick off, fostering cultural and diplomatic ties. The event will also feature an interactive online-offline format with the Hi-Go Fair for CEE goods.

This year, Slovenia and Slovakia are honored as guest countries, and for the first time, participants from nine additional nations, including the UK, France, and Germany, will showcase their products. Institutions such as the World Bank and the European Union Chamber of Commerce in China are also invited, along with renowned corporations like Sanofi, Novartis, and Morgan Stanley.

Looking ahead, the expo aims to unlock further potential and broaden collaborative opportunities. By facilitating a structured exchange and cooperation mechanism, the event seeks to leverage new possibilities for industrial transformation and investment.

In conclusion, the 4th International Consumer Goods Fair serves as a pivotal platform bridging the vast markets of China with the Central and Eastern European regions. This monumental gathering not only showcases products but also encourages cross-border partnerships and innovative developments that pave the way for a fruitful future.
