Fender Music Korea: Strengthening Fender's Presence in Korea
Fender Musical Instruments Corporation (FMIC), based in California, USA, has officially established its Korea branch, Fender Music Korea. This wholly-owned subsidiary is set to commence operations as the sole distributor of FMIC products, including popular brands such as Fender®, Fender Custom Shop™, Squier®, Gretsch®, EVH®, Charvel®, and Jackson®, starting from October 1, 2025. The company's new General Manager, Jack Kim, will report directly to Edward Bud Cole, president of Asia Pacific operations.
In a statement, Edward Bud Cole expressed gratitude to Guitarnet and PK International, the previous partners who supported FMIC's brand development in Korea. He aims to build on the strong legacy of Fender in the country, intending to deliver further growth and excitement to both dealers and customers.
