On November 20, Kawai Juku will host an online seminar aimed at university and high school educators, discussing the implications of subject competence tests within entrance examination frameworks. This fourth seminar in our series will foster a panel discussion focusing on designated entrance examination methods such as the “Comprehensive Selection” and “School Recommendations.”
Overview of the Event
During this seminar, we will explore how the implementation of subject competence tests aligns with the comprehensive evaluation standards introduced in recent years. Starting in fiscal year 2026, these tests will be implemented in combination with a multifaceted assessment approach, sparking various responses from universities and high schools alike.
