Hotel Metropolitan, located in the vibrant district of Ikebukuro, Tokyo, is set to captivate dessert enthusiasts with its newest addition to the Seasonal Parfait lineup. Starting from May 1, 2026, guests can treat themselves to a luxurious parfait that beautifully marries the luscious sweetness of mango with the rich bitterness of matcha. This exquisite creation invites you on a delightful culinary journey with every spoonful.

The parfait showcases a base of mango compote mousse that oozes richness, accompanied by velvety coconut cream. Topping this delightful layer, you'll find fresh mango slices, alongside a unique glistening jelly made with rare cacao pulp, lemon grass jelly, and delightful matcha warabi mochi, all generously adorned with blueberries. Each bite encapsulates a harmonious blend of sweetness, refreshing acidity, and refined bitterness, promoting a well-rounded flavor experience.

For the perfect summery touch, the dessert is crowned with smooth mango sorbet and rich matcha ice cream, both of which provide a refreshing and cooling effect, ideal for those warm days ahead. To add that extra crunch, a crispy mango-flavored tuile enhances the texture of the parfait, making it perfect for enjoying the seasonal theme of mango and matcha. For an added layer of satisfaction, a tropical sauce with passion fruit seeds can be drizzled on top to elevate the flavor profile, allowing diners to relish the evolving tastes until the very last spoonful.

Guests can indulge in this limited-time only parfait from May 1 to June 30, available daily from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM (last order at 5:30 PM) in the Mezzanine Lounge “Suzukake” located on the second floor. The seasonal parfait is priced at ¥2,200, or enjoy it with a drink (coffee or tea) for ¥3,200.
