TMS International Welcomes Dennis Kenemuth as New Director of Technical Support



TMS International Corporation has officially named Dennis Kenemuth as the new Director of Technical Support for its Raw Materials and Optimization Group (RMOG). TMS International has strengthened its foothold in North America through a partnership with Nippon Carbon Co., Ltd., which became effective on January 1, 2024. This collaboration designates TMS as the exclusive distributor of Nippon Carbon’s graphite electrodes in the region. Nippon Carbon has a storied history of over a century in the carbon industry and has been instrumental in optimizing the use of graphite electrodes in electric arc furnaces.

Kenemuth's Vast Experience


Before joining TMS International, Mr. Kenemuth held influential positions at several companies across the globe, including Melter in Monterrey, Mexico, where he served as Director of Sales for the Melt Shop Division. His professional journey also took him to Sarrale USA in Dallas, Texas, where he was responsible for sales across the USA and Canada, and at Showa Denko Carbon/AMI Automation, also in Dallas, as Director of Electric Arc Furnace Optimization Services. In addition, he has contributed to Vesuvius USA as Director of Sales, focused on iron and steel refractories.

Kenemuth holds a master's degree in business administration from the University of North Texas and a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from Gannon University. His extensive experience, spanning over 40 countries, is expected to be a valuable asset for TMS International as they advance their operational capabilities and customer service.
