Exploring the Charm of Chinese Innovation: GAC International Media Visit



From January 13 to 16, GAC International welcomed media representatives from Germany, Portugal, Finland, Poland, and Greece to its headquarters in Guangzhou. This event showcased the company's advanced R&D capabilities, extensive supply chain, and world-class manufacturing practices.

During the visit, journalists were introduced to GAC's R&D center, where they discovered cutting-edge advancements in new energy vehicles, intelligent connectivity, and lightweight design. The highlight of the experience was a thrilling test drive in the supercar HYPTEC SSR, which impressed participants with its remarkable acceleration, going from 0 to 100 km/h in just 1.9 seconds. During this demonstration, the media explored flagship models such as the AION V, AION UT, AION Y, HYPTEC HT, GAC ES9, and GAC E9. Guided by professional instructors, media representatives experienced the remarkable acceleration, handling, and advanced intelligent features of these vehicles.

The AION V, a strategic global model set to launch in Europe, garnered praise for its seamless performance and tech-savvy features. Ensuring that media representatives fully grasped GAC's strategic positioning, senior executives from the company, including Wei Haigang, President of GAC International, and Zhang Fan, Vice President of GAC's R&D center, engaged in discussions with the visiting journalists.
