Starbucks Tea & Cafe Kicks Off Winter Season with Joyful Medley

On November 1, 2025, Starbucks Coffee Japan Co., Ltd., headquartered in Shinagawa, Tokyo under CEO Hisae Morii, will launch the winter season at its 24 specialized locations, Starbucks Tea & Cafe. This year, the popular seasonal favorite, "Joyful Medley", takes center stage with a delicious twist—introducing the "Red" Joyful Medley. This new tea beverage combines the rich flavors of Joyful Medley with tantalizing raspberry, promising a sweet and sour celebration of the holiday season.

The first offering, the 'Red Raspberry & Joyful Medley Tea Frappuccino®', merges sweet milk tea infused with Joyful Medley and raspberry-flavored syrup. Topped with a light tea mousse, raspberry sauce, and raspberry powder, this frappuccino promises a delightful dessert-like experience from the very first sip. To enhance its flavors, a layer of raspberry sauce is added at the bottom of the cup, ensuring the vibrant raspberry taste greets you before the Joyful Medley flavor unravels.

If you prefer a cozy experience, the 'Red Raspberry & Joyful Medley Mousse Tea Latte' is available in both hot and iced variations. This drink combines the richness of Joyful Medley tea with milk and raspberry syrup, topped off with a delicate tea mousse and raspberry sauce, creating a sweet and vibrant taste sensation that lingers pleasantly on the palate.

Starbucks Tea & Cafe will also introduce a classic favorite: the 'Joyful Medley/Tea Pot', served one cup at a time. This offering showcases a blend of two black teas and oolong tea, along with jasmine-scented green tea, presenting a gentle sweetness and floral aroma, culminating in a delightful tea time experience.

Looking ahead, starting January 7, 2026, a second offering known as the "White" Joyful Medley will debut, combining Joyful Medley with various fruits to create new flavor profiles. Customers are encouraged to savor this unique tea blend with the delightful pairings of fruits.

To complement the tea offerings, Starbucks is excited to introduce an array of desserts from the Italian bakery Princi®. The new sweets are carefully selected to pair perfectly with their TEAVANA™ beverage collection, aiming to elevate the tea-drinking experience. These include:

1. 'Torta Trone Miele' (¥1,031 for takeout / ¥1,050 in-store) – Inspired by the Italian holiday treat "Torrone", this cake layers mousse with apricot sauce, creating a luxurious dessert that harmonizes beautifully with 'Rwanda Black Tea'.

2. 'Torta di Banana' (¥864 for takeout / ¥880 in-store) – A rich banana tart infused with caramel and maple sugar, best enjoyed with the 'Peach Tranquility Tea', offering a delightful fruity balance.

3. 'Princheena' (¥864 for takeout / ¥880 in-store) – A decadent chocolate tart crafted with fine Italian chocolate, which pairs exquisitely with the 'Earl Grey Bouquet Delight Tea Latte'.

These exciting seasonal offerings will be available starting November 1, 2025, at all 24 locations of Starbucks Tea & Cafe across Japan.
