Weekend Terrace Barbecue at Hotel Grand Bach Atami Crescendo
Nestled in the picturesque surroundings of Atami, the Hotel Grand Bach Atami Crescendo, managed by Takakiyo Sekine, is set to launch its exclusive "Weekend Terrace Barbecue" experience. Starting from August 8, 2025, until October 31, 2025, guests can enjoy this unique dining opportunity every weekend from Friday to Sunday, featuring a stunning wooden deck area known as the "Bay View Terrace."
A Memorable Ambiance
The terrace, which offers breathtaking views of Sagami Bay at sunset, is an exquisite outdoor dining space where guests can indulge in a seasonal barbecue dinner. Accompanied by attentive hotel staff, this delightful culinary experience invites visitors to revel in the pleasures of warm evenings in a private setting.
The Culinary Highlights
Utilizing a Danish-made OFYR wood fire grill, the skilled chefs at the hotel expertly highlight the natural flavors of the selected ingredients. The centerpiece of the dinner is the mouthwatering Aitakagyu sirloin, renowned for its rich quality and sourced from Shizuoka Prefecture. The chefs skillfully manage the intense flames on the grill to achieve the perfect exterior crust while keeping the interior tender and juicy, reminding one of the exquisite taste of grilled steak. To enhance this gastronomic journey, guests can opt for a free-flow wine selection curated by the hotel sommelier, allowing for a truly relaxed twilight dinner experience.
Desserts with a View
As the evening winds down, diners are invited to move to the counter with a spectacular view of the city below, where they can enjoy a refreshing cold sorbet against a backdrop of shimmering nighttime scenery, marking the perfect finale to an unforgettable evening.
Local Flavors and Fresh Produce
The barbecue dinner highlights locally sourced ingredients. The rich and flavorful Aitakagyu sirloin is raised without stress in the verdant foothills of Mount Aitake in Shizuoka. This local beef brand is primarily consumed within the prefecture, presenting a wonderful opportunity for guests to enjoy a true taste of the area.
Additionally, vegetables sourced from Kitayama Farm, an organic farm hand-selected by the executive chef, are featured in the dinner. These Misho vegetables are cultivated in well-drained soil, basking in ample sunshine, resulting in rich flavors and sweetness. Diners are encouraged to savor the culinary blessings from the Izu region and the slopes of Mount Fuji.
