Nurturing Career Perspectives Through the DOMINISTA CHALLENGE Program

In an effort to foster career perspectives among young students, Dormy Inn, managed by Kyoritsu Maintenance Co., is set to host the DOMINISTA CHALLENGE program at the Dormy Inn PREMIUM Hakata Canal City during September 24-25, 2025. This initiative targets middle school students from Fukuoka City’s Tojin Junior High School, providing them with a hands-on experience in the hospitality industry.

What is the DOMINISTA CHALLENGE?

Since its inception in 2019, the DOMINISTA CHALLENGE program has welcomed middle and high school students across various hotels nationwide. The program aims to give students a behind-the-scenes look at the hospitality sector by engaging them in front desk operations, housekeeping, and bed-making tasks. Through these activities, students gain insight into the emotional investment of workers and learn the importance of helping others and collaboration through interactions with guests.

In today's globalized society, where children encounter diverse cultural backgrounds daily, participating in hotel-related vocational experiences becomes a valuable learning opportunity for multicultural coexistence. Thus far, the program has collaborated with over 60 schools, with nine schools from the Kyushu region alone involved, as part of career education initiatives focused on shaping vocational perspectives.
