Organon Expands Women's Health Accelerator Program Across Middle East, Turkey, and Africa

Organon Unveils Third Phase of Women's Health Accelerator Program

DUBAI, UAE - February 4, 2026 — In an inspiring move aimed at addressing critical gaps in women’s health, global health leader Organon has launched the third phase of its "Women’s Health Accelerator Program". This latest iteration will cover the Middle East, Turkey, and Africa (META) regions, aiming to foster innovation and develop crucial solutions in family planning, fertility, and women’s well-being.

Through collaboration with Flat6Labs, the program is designed to support digital health initiatives that focus on unmet needs within the META region. Startups participating in the program will gain access to funding opportunities, market testing, and the chance to connect with regional investors to enhance their business models.

Organon’s mission is to create “#HealthyTomorrows for every woman, every day,” and this groundbreaking initiative is an open call for entrepreneurs developing innovative solutions in women’s health. Applications for the program are open until February 12, 2026.

For the first time, this year’s program is also inviting applications from Sub-Saharan Africa, significantly expanding its reach. The goal is to support innovative solutions specifically tailored to meet the health needs of women, including those in Ukraine, thus further enhancing the program's impact.

During the 2025/26 cycle, participants will engage in workshops and mentoring sessions facilitated by an extensive network of experts, including academics, healthcare professionals, and policy advisors. Previous winners of the program will also contribute as mentors, sharing their experiences and insights with new entrepreneurs.

The initiative aspires to address structural gaps in women’s health by providing digital solutions specifically designed to meet women’s needs. Research indicates that closing the gender health gap could contribute a staggering £1 trillion to the global economy by 2040. Through this program, Organon aims to create both social and economic impacts by investing directly in innovators and their projects.

Ramy Koussa, Associate Vice President of Organon for the Middle East, Turkey, and Africa, stated, “By expanding our program to the META regions, we further strengthen our commitment to innovation in women’s health. Digital health offers tremendous potential concerning early detection, personalized care, and wide-scale access. With our entry into Africa, we aim to forge robust partnerships to close critical gaps in women’s health.”

Since its inception in 2022, the program has received nearly 500 applications and has supported over 20 startups. The upcoming Demo Day, scheduled for the beginning of the second quarter of 2026, will allow finalists to present their solutions to a panel of judges, where three winning startups will be awarded.
