Welcome the New Year with KADOMATSU at Hilton Tokyo
As the festive season approaches, Hilton Tokyo is set to delight guests with a unique dessert,
KADOMATSU, available from
December 31, 2025, to January 4, 2026. Priced at
¥1,650, this delectable creation serves as a perfect addition to your New Year's celebrations and makes an excellent gift for greetings during this joyful season.
Inspired by the traditional Japanese New Year decoration known as kadomatsu, which symbolizes prosperity and good fortune, this dessert features an eye-catching white chocolate vessel designed to resemble bamboo. Inside this beautiful holder lies a surprise – the traditional sweet known as
Rurijyu (ルリジューズ). This delightful treat has a rich and smooth cream filling made from Kyoto's high-quality Uji matcha, combined with Felchlin's high-grade Opus White chocolate (35% cocoa), sake lees, and custard for a nuanced and luxurious flavor.
To enhance this creamy filling, a layer of quince and pear confiture is added, providing a refined sweetness, subtle aroma, and refreshing fruitiness that create a harmonious finish. This dessert is not just a feast for the palate; it also adds elegance to your New Year’s dining table, making it perfect for family gatherings or as a thoughtful gift for friends and loved ones.
