IS4S Inducted into Alabama Engineering Hall of Fame
On February 28, 2026, IS4S was formally recognized for its outstanding contributions to engineering by being inducted into the Alabama Engineering Hall of Fame during a ceremony held at the Bryant Center in Tuscaloosa. This induction marks a significant milestone as IS4S becomes the 36th Alabama-based corporation to earn such an esteemed recognition.
The Alabama Engineering Hall of Fame, established by gubernatorial proclamation in 1987, aims to honor individuals, projects, and organizations that have made substantial contributions to engineering and brought recognition to Alabama. The Hall of Fame is overseen by a board comprising 20 members and includes engineering schools such as Auburn University, Alabama A&M University, and the University of Alabama.
Milton Davis, chairman of the board, spoke to the significance of the honor, stating that it embodies the innovation, leadership, and dedication to improving the lives of all Alabamians that the engineering sector represents. He emphasized that joining the Hall of Fame is to be part of a distinguished group that has made a lasting impact on the state’s future and economy.
The 2026 class of inductees included seven individuals, with IS4S being the only corporation honored this year. Nominated by Auburn University's Samuel Ginn College of Engineering, IS4S has established itself as a major employer of alumni and has developed strong ties to the university. Dean Mario Eden of the College expressed pride in presenting IS4S for this honor, noting the company's commitment to safety and security in America.
In his acceptance address, Glenn Rolader, the president and CEO of IS4S, highlighted the thriving partnership between the company and Auburn University. Rolader conveyed that IS4S exemplifies how universities and industries can collaborate effectively to serve national interests. Founded in 2008, IS4S has grown into a dynamic engineering and management firm, currently boasting over 400 employee-owners and supporting numerous government and commercial clients across the country.
“Our growth has spanned from Ohio to Florida, across Georgia to California, but we remain rooted in Alabama,” Rolader stated, highlighting that a significant number of their workforce is from the state and educated within the local college system. With offices in multiple cities in Alabama, including their headquarters in Huntsville and a newly opened facility in Hackleburg for energetics testing, the company continues to contribute to Alabama's engineering landscape.
IS4S’s induction into the Alabama Engineering Hall of Fame not only showcases its achievements but also reinforces its role in representing Alabama on a national level, as they continue to strive for excellence in engineering and management. For more information about IS4S, visit
