Visiting Angels Sets Fundraising Target for Alzheimer's Walk

In a dedicated effort to combat Alzheimer’s disease, Visiting Angels, known as America’s Choice in Home Care®, has announced a substantial fundraising goal that surpasses $1 million for the 2026 Walk to End Alzheimer's. This year, the ambition is larger than ever, set at a goal of $1 million, once again, with an expected personal contribution from Meigs of $500,000. He remarked, “Our caregivers show up for families living with Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia every single day, and this is just an extension of that same commitment. Setting a $1 million-plus goal this year isn’t about the number for its own sake. It’s about matching the urgency our caregivers already bring to this fight.”

As fundraising efforts for the upcoming walk continue, nearly 1,000 participants have registered across 168 teams, reflecting a united front in the battle against Alzheimer’s. In recognition of their top achievers, Visiting Angels rewards the top 25 fundraising franchisees with a donation towards their local Alzheimer’s Association chapter.
