This month, we bring you reports from two regions: the Tohoku Tokyu Association and the Hokuriku Tokyu Association. Together, they executed eight community activities in March, focusing on sports promotion and environmental conservation.
Tohoku Tokyu Association
One of the standout activities was the
Tokyu Spring Concert 2026 held on March 2 at the Tokyo Electron Hall Miyagi. The event featured professional musicians, GRIM SPANKY and Chitose, who performed for around 1,300 local attendees, offering them a rare chance to enjoy high-quality music for free. The concert also emphasized social contribution by collaborating with the Guide Dog Association and food bank activities, encouraging donations and awareness among attendees.

On March 22, the
45th Walking & Clean in Toyama event was held, aiming to maintain the aesthetic appeal of Toyama, an important tourist destination. Despite its clean appearance, participants diligently collected hidden litter from sidewalks, reinforcing the importance of environmental upkeep. The event saw active participation from 32 members who worked in a spirited and cooperative atmosphere. Local residents also expressed their gratitude, further boosting morale among the volunteers.

The Hokuriku Tokyu Association’s past events highlight their dedication to enhancing the local environment and overall community image, as well as fostering camaraderie among members.
Spotlight on Nagoya Tokyu Association
Each month, we also feature a spotlight region. This month, we focus on the
Nagoya Tokyu Association, consisting of 17 companies in the Chukyo area. The association has been hosting events like the
Tokyu Fureai Concert, which brings children from special needs schools and their families together for lunch and live performances since 2012. Community cleanup activities involving employees and their families have also been ongoing since 2002.
According to Takao Otsu from Tokyu Community Company, the joy and gratitude expressed by participants during these activities serve as strong motivation for everyone involved. The bond formed through music and shared experiences continues to strengthen their connection to the community.
