Sensorio Kicks Off an Enchanting Summer with Live Music and Art Celebrations

Celebrating Seven Years of Sensorio

This summer, Sensorio, an immersive art destination located in Paso Robles, California, is set to unveil an exciting lineup of activities to mark its seventh anniversary. Known for its breathtaking light installations and artistic ambiance, Sensorio not only focuses on visual art but also creates a lively atmosphere filled with music, culture, and community engagement.

A Vibrant Calendar of Events

As the summer unfolds, Sensorio invites visitors to partake in a variety of events designed to enhance the overall experience at the venue. The Summer Concert Series features local favorites including Carbon City Lights, Moonshiner Collective, and the ever-popular Damon Castillo Band. This energetic series is complemented by Sunday Jazz Nights, showcasing a rotation of talented artists. The serene backdrop of the Sensorio landscape, especially during sunset, offers a magical setting for these musical gatherings.

In addition to these musical events, Sensorio's commitment to giving back to the community continues through its 'Sensorio Gives Back' program. This initiative highlights local non-profits and supports organizations like The Art Center of Morro Bay and Central Coast Boys & Girls Club, having raised over $528,000 to date. This summer, the program will host select evenings dedicated to these local causes, allowing patrons to enjoy unforgettable experiences while contributing to important community projects.

Unique Experiences Await

Another exciting addition to this year's summer programming includes local craft fairs and tastings, featuring delicious offerings like olive oil from Pasolivo. Guests can also enjoy exclusive winery events, such as the recent Brecon Estate member night, which integrates local culture and craftsmanship into the artistic offerings. Astronomy Nights promise exceptional views as illuminated installations blend beautifully with the night sky, creating an enchanting celestial experience.

As the FIFA World Cup approaches, Sensorio positions itself as a must-see attraction for both international and domestic visitors. It’s conveniently located between Los Angeles and San Francisco, making it an ideal stop for travelers gearing up for the tournament. Notably, over the Fourth of July weekend, Sensorio will celebrate America's 250th birthday with a variety of themed food and music, alongside patriotic illuminations, including a spectacular light display illustrating fireworks on the iconic Radiant Roots installation.

A Transformative Space

Sensorio has evolved significantly since its inception in 2019, starting as a temporary installation featuring the ‘Field of Light’ exhibit by renowned artist Bruce Munro. Today, it boasts a permanent 35-acre park that encompasses eight stunning exhibitions, a performance venue, and a full-service hospitality suite to accommodate private events.

The recent addition of the Radiant Roots installation, crafted by local artist Bjorn, serves as a breathtaking entry point to the venue. It is adorned with seasonal projection art, visible from Highway 46, and it epitomizes the intersection of nature and technology.

Sensorio's culinary offerings are also on the rise. The much-anticipated Mercado will debut a wood-fired pizza oven while the Terrace enhances its menu, featuring locally sourced dishes like Etto Pasta. With new seating arrangements, visitors can now reserve tables that provide stunning views of the light installations.

Moreover, with a commitment to sustainability, Sensorio is transitioning to almost complete solar-powered energy use, reinforcing its dedication to protecting the environment while providing a stunning experience.

Experience Sensorio This Summer

As this mission continues, the venue invites all to explore its inspiring blend of light, art, and community experiences this summer and beyond. Visitors can enjoy a myriad of activities, relax in an artistic oasis, and create lasting memories with friends and family.
