Bryan High School Students Unveil Mini Monster Jam® Truck

The Bryan High School community was buzzing with excitement as students from the career and technical education (CTE) class revealed their remarkable achievement – a one-third-scale Monster Jam® truck. This impressive project was brought to life through the Tools for the Trades™ program, developed by Northern Tool + Equipment in collaboration with Monster Jam®.

During the event held at the Moody Center in Austin, the students experienced a moment akin to a true Monster Jam® event. They proudly presented their creation to an eager audience of thousands, lighting up the arena under the dazzling lights. It was a culmination of hard work, creativity, and hands-on learning that showcased the immense potential of the next generation of tradespeople.

Colt Stephens, a well-known driver of Monster Jam®'s ThunderROARus, expressed his admiration for the students’ work, stating, "I am speechless at the work that these students have done — and so was the crowd. They deserve every bit of the thunderous applause they received." His words highlighted the extraordinary nature of this collaboration and the impact it had on everyone involved.

Chris Lehde, an instructor at Bryan High School, expressed heartfelt appreciation for the opportunity given to the students. "I can't begin to thank Northern Tool + Equipment and Monster Jam for this opportunity," he remarked. "It’s not every day you get to pour your heart and soul into a project with the help of legends."
