The Potion Studio Expands Hair Care Range into Ulta Beauty's Retail Network

The Potion Studio, a trailblazing brand known for its climate-adaptive hair care, is making waves with its recent partnership with Ulta Beauty. This collaboration marks an important milestone as The Potion Studio becomes Ulta's first Black- and Arab-owned brand, a distinction that underscores its commitment to inclusivity and innovation in the beauty industry.

A New Venture in Retail

As of now, The Potion Studio's offerings, which include their core portfolio of climate-adaptive hair products and the newly launched Control Potion Styling Gel, will be available in over 450 Ulta Beauty stores as well as on ulta.com. This exciting expansion not only elevates The Potion Studio's visibility but also enhances Ulta Beauty’s breadth of luxury hair care products, particularly for the multi-ethnic and clean-conscious beauty enthusiasts.

Aziza El Wanni, the CEO and Founder of The Potion Studio, shared her pride in entering Ulta Beauty's retail space, emphasizing the significance of having a brand that reflects diverse cultural backgrounds. Aziza's journey—growing up with a multicultural upbringing in Suriname—has greatly influenced the creation of her brand. Frustrated by the lack of beauty products that addressed her unique, textured hair needs, she set out to develop solutions that cater to individuals from mixed heritage across varying climates.

Celebrating Texture and Identity

With the inclusion of The Potion Studio in Ulta Beauty's product range, Shianna Davey, Vice President of Merchandising at Ulta, highlighted the urgency of diversity within beauty assortments.
