GreatValue's HERO Project Launches in Yotsukaido City
In an exciting development aimed at enhancing local community engagement, GreatValue Co., Ltd., headquartered in Minato-ku, Tokyo, has introduced the 'HERO' initiative, which leverages QR rally technology. This campaign begins in Yotsukaido City, presenting a unique opportunity for residents and visitors to explore the area while participating in a local event.
Campaign Details
The Yotsukaido City stamp rally will run until September 20, allowing participants to collect stamps at various storefronts across the city. Collecting just two stamps will enable participants to exchange them for a 500 yen ticket, usable at the upcoming "Multicultural Fair" to be held from September 21. This fair promises to showcase diverse cuisines, creating an engaging experience for all. For more information on the event, visit
Yotsukaido Bravo.
How to Participate
To take part in the HERO initiative, residents are encouraged to register on YotsuPay, the digital platform supporting this project. After registration, participants can start the QR rally by visiting at least two stores and collecting their stamps. Detailed information regarding YotsuPay is available
here.
A Word from the Organizers
According to Takayuki Hirosawa, CEO of GreatValue, the campaign has attracted participation from 82 businesses, doubling the member count of the Yotsumachi Shopping Association Bravo. The goal is to drive user registration and increase engagement with local stores through this event. GreatValue plans to host monthly events to further encourage local residents' participation and promote the benefits of the HERO initiative.
Future Outlook
YotsuPay is designed to replace traditional point systems, enhancing local economic activities by encouraging resident spending. The application will not only serve as a point service but is designed to broaden its utility. It will incorporate features for mutual assistance, information dissemination, and support for local administrative points and subsidies. Through collaboration with local commercial associations, YotsuPay aims to provide a valuable tool for promoting local commerce through gift vouchers, point redemption sales, and joint promotional strategies, ultimately energizing local economic activities.
The Versatility of HERO
The QR rally feature of the HERO project enables diverse applications, from promoting local health activities to job-seeking initiatives within the community. By addressing local needs effectively, the HERO project can adapt to the diverse challenges faced by different regions, ensuring its broad applicability and success.
