Old Orchard's Fall Festival: A Weekend of Fun and Festivities
As the leaves begin to turn and autumn fills the air, the Merchant & Business Association of Old Orchard (MBAOO) is thrilled to announce the return of the annual Fall Festival. This exciting two-day event will take place on Saturday, October 24 and Sunday, October 25, from 10 AM to 6 PM each day. Big Bend Boulevard will evolve into a lively celebration, stretching from Dale Avenue to Summit Avenue, where community members and festival-goers can revel in seasonal delights.
What's New This Year?
This year's festival comes with some refreshing changes aimed at enhancing the experience for attendees. Notably, Log Cabin Lane will be closed to traffic, transforming it into a vibrant festival hub filled with music, shopping, and engaging activities perfect for people of all ages. Attendees can expect more engagement and interaction than ever before.
Musical Extravaganza
For the first time, the festival will feature two stages of live music, offering attendees a nonstop entertainment experience. Across the weekend, 14 bands will grace the stages, including local favorites such as Jake's Leg, Voodoo Funky Butt Brass Band, and the Webster Groves High School Jazz Band. With acts constantly shifting, there’s something music lovers won’t want to miss.
Marketplace Delights
Food and shopping are integral parts of the Fall Festival. This year, over 55 vendors and regional artisans will display their unique offerings, ranging from handcrafted goods to delightful seasonal treats. Notable confirmations include Crispy Sips, Glow Candle Co., and Steele Caramels among many others. With such a diverse marketplace, attendees are sure to find something that piques their interest.
Family Fun Activities
One of the festival highlights is the return of the Cowboy Critters Petting Zoo, which provides a memorable hands-on experience for both kids and adults. Visitors will have the opportunity to meet and interact with a variety of adorable farm animals, including goats, pigs, and rabbits.
