The transaction is backed by Andera Partners, a reputable international private equity fund, in addition to continued investment from Walter Capital Partners alongside the management teams from both Averna and Spherea. Patrice Bélie, Spherea's CEO, will lead the newly formed Spherea Group while François Rainville continues as Averna’s CEO and takes on the role of Chief Operating Officer for the combined entity.
