Southern Champion Tray (SCT), a prominent leader in the packaging industry, has marked a significant leadership change with the appointment of Tyler Siira as President, effective July 1, 2026. Tyler Siira takes over the role from Brian Hunt, who will continue to serve as the Chief Executive Officer. This structured leadership is designed to ensure that SCT continues to thrive and innovate while staying true to its mission of valuing people and glorifying God in all its undertakings.

Siira's professional journey boasts a wealth of experience in various leadership roles. Before joining SCT, he served as Vice President and Treasurer of Unum Group, and as Owner and President of DCI Manufacturing. His most recent position was Chief Financial Officer of SCT, which equipped him with deep insights into the company's operations and culture. His academic credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Bryan College and an MBA from the Instituto de Empresa in Madrid, Spain. This fusion of educational and professional experiences positions him well to lead SCT.

One of Siira's notable qualities is his collaborative leadership style, which resonates with SCT's core values of team empowerment and development. The company prides itself on providing top-notch customer experiences, starting with a dedicated workforce of over 950 team members located in Chattanooga, Tennessee; Fairfield, Ohio; and Mansfield, Texas. Beyond his professional roles, Siira is deeply committed to the Chattanooga community, which has been home to him, his wife Stacie, and their two children since 2005. Maclellan Foundation, Chattanooga Football Club Foundation, Chattanooga Christian School, and the Chattanooga Symphony Opera.
