Heijoen's Summer Cold Noodles Launch: A Delicious Treat
Heijoen, a prestigious Yakiniku (grilled meat) chain managed by Heijoen Co., Ltd., located in Adachi, Tokyo, has announced the introduction of two new cold noodle dishes, available from August 6, 2025. Designed to provide a cooling and tasty meal during the peak of summer, these limited-time offerings come in exciting flavors: creamy spinach and zesty tofu.
With over 800 premium wagyu beef purchases each year, Heijoen prides itself on sourcing top-quality wagyu from famous regions across Japan, purchasing entire cattle to ensure optimal flavor and quality. This approach allows the brand to maintain a trusted supply chain, ensuring that customers receive products that are not only delicious but also safe and reliable. The company operates its own factories to manage aging, processing, and distribution effectively.
As the summer heat becomes increasingly unbearable, Heijoen prepares delectable meals aimed at refreshing diners. This year, the two new cold noodles are themed around “Stamina & Creamy Richness,” following the success of the earlier releases. The two dishes are a result of an internal cooking contest, where the winners were chosen for their outstanding flavor combinations and creativity:
- - Spinach Pottage Cold Noodle: Priced at 1,200 yen (1,320 yen including tax), this dish features a rich spinach pottage paired with a soft boiled egg to enhance flavor complexity and nutritional value. The smokiness of the crisp bacon adds a delightful touch to this cool dish.
- - Tofu Dandan Cold Noodle: For 1,000 yen (1,100 yen including tax), this refreshing option invites vibrant notes of cilantro and lemon. It creates an invigorating experience with the creamy texture of tofu combined with the slight spice of Dandan soup, delivering a perfect summer meal.
Customers can enjoy these new offerings at select locations including Ayase Main Store, Kameari, and several others throughout the region. The full list of participating stores can be found on their official website.
Heijoen, established in 1970, celebrates 55 years of serving high-quality food next year. The founder’s passion for the exquisite taste of wagyu beef inspired the creation of Heijoen as a Yakiniku restaurant, offering a unique style tailored to Japanese tastes.
The company's dedication to quality is evident in their approach to sourcing. They purchase black-haired wagyu cattle directly from reputable farms, process them in-house, and manage distribution to ensure consistency and excellence across all their restaurants. This extends beyond just Yakiniku; Heijoen also offers steak, shabu-shabu, and burger options to cater to a wide range of culinary interests.
As of August 5, 2025, the Heijoen group operates 36 locations within Japan and one internationally. With a focus on providing quality food and a commitment to maintaining their high standards, Heijoen looks forward to introducing more innovative products and remarkable dining experiences for all.
