Moomin Arabia Unveils New Collection Supporting Red Cross Efforts

Moomin Arabia Introduces New Products for Humanitarian Efforts

In celebration of its 80th anniversary, Moomin Arabia, a lifestyle brand under Fiskars Japan, has announced the launch of new products in its special collection titled ‘Home at Last’. This initiative, created in partnership with the Red Cross, aims to support humanitarian efforts by donating one euro (approximately 170 yen) for each product sold. The collection will begin its rollout on September 10, 2025.

A Meaningful Collaboration: Supporting Humanitarian Activity

The ‘Home at Last’ collection emphasizes themes of familial reunification and interconnectivity among people, aligning perfectly with the mission of the Red Cross. With the slogan “Together for good,” this initiative aims to create a brighter future through collective goodwill. The collection reflects stories of reconnection and embodies the spirit of the Moomin brand, especially significant as it celebrates its anniversary.

Expanding the Narrative of Reunion

The latest product launch will focus on textiles aimed at enhancing the narrative that ‘Home at Last’ is built upon. Drawing inspiration from Tove Jansson's comic, ‘A Long Journey to Moomin Valley’, the design illustrates the heartfelt story of Moomin reuniting with Moominmama and Moominpapa after being lost at sea for a long time.

In the first phase of the collection released in March, the design showcased the Moomin family embracing after a long separation. The new items will feature the iconic blue, round Moominhouse, symbolizing reunion, bringing warmth and storytelling to everyday life. This includes kitchenware, towels, and bedding items that highlight everyday comfort intertwined with Moomin narratives.

Insights from the Moomin Arabia Design Head

Annika Tickler, the design head at Moomin Arabia, shared, “The new design encapsulates the story of rediscovering a place and the warmth of people. My wish is for people to gather once more and walk together towards a better future.” Her vision speaks to the deeper message of the collection, resonating with those seeking comfort and connection in their lives.
