Kiddie Academy® Announces $50,000 in Annual Charitable Contributions for 2024

Kiddie Academy® Makes a Difference with $50,000 Annual Giving

In a heartfelt embrace of the spirit of generosity, Kiddie Academy® Educational Child Care has announced a significant annual giving total of $50,000 for 2024. This commendable achievement coincides with Giving Tuesday, a day dedicated to charitable contributions and acts of kindness.

The contributions made by Kiddie Academy reflect their commitment to supporting families, employees, and child-focused nonprofits in communities nationwide. Casey Miller, the executive vice president at Kiddie Academy, stated, "Kiddie Academy's charitable giving efforts represent our pledge to create brighter futures for both children and our employees across the board. We are thrilled to support charities that align with our values and exhibit the potential to positively impact the lives of children and their families."

This year, Kiddie Academy plans to make a $20,000 donation to Family Promise, a nonprofit organization dedicated to addressing homelessness. Since their partnership's onset in 2019, Kiddie Academy's contributions have surpassed $127,000, which aids local affiliate locations that work tirelessly with families facing homelessness. In addition, the funds facilitate case manager training, advocacy efforts, and resources for affiliates, significantly enhancing their ability to provide support.

Moreover, Kiddie Academy has allocated $15,000 in grant funding to several distinguished nonprofits, including the Harford County Education Foundation, the Harford County Public Library Foundation, and Baltimore County's Irvine Nature Center. Since launching its grantmaking program in 2022, Kiddie Academy has disbursed $44,000 across 18 nonprofit organizations, emphasizing their dedication to community betterment.

Courtney Sagal, deputy director and director of education at Irvine Nature Center, expressed gratitude for Kiddie Academy's support, remarking, "We are thankful to Kiddie Academy for their grant support for our community event, Holidays With Hoot. The event promotes environmental literacy and encourages early engagement with nature, particularly among the youngest community members. The funding we receive allows us to offer a comprehensive program at a discounted rate, thereby increasing access for many in our community."
