The competition recognized two standout teams: the United States Army's 128th Aviation Brigade, Team Chinook, clinched victory in the Top Professional category, while Tulsa Tech's Adult Students took home honors in the Top School category. Each team demonstrated exceptional proficiency in utilizing Perfect Point EDM's flagship E-Drill system, which is designed to streamline the fastener removal process under strict technical requirements.

The innovative design of the E-Drill significantly reduces metal shavings, mitigates cleanup time, and minimizes the risk of structural damage—a critical factor in the aerospace industry where safety and precision are paramount.

Post-competition feedback revealed that competitors found the E-Drill easy to use, intuitive, and vastly more efficient than traditional methods. David Swisher from Southwest Airlines noted, "With the E-Drill, you really don't have to have a whole lot of skill. It does all the work for you, and the best part, you don't damage the structure." Michael Davies from Virgin Australia echoed these sentiments, praising the E-Drill’s effectiveness in simplifying his previous experiences with fasteners.
