Ailytics Secures Series A Funding for Global Expansion
Ailytics, a pioneering startup known for its innovative visual AI technology, has successfully raised
$7.4 million in a Series A funding round led by Tin Men Capital. This funding marks a significant step for
Ailytics as it aims to expand its operations across the
Asia-Pacific region, the
USA, and the
Gulf countries.
The funding round included participation from several key investors, such as
SEEDS, part of
SG Growth Capital, and
Safie, recognized as Japan's largest cloud camera provider. The investments demonstrate a collective effort from family-run businesses and previous investors to boost Ailytics' growth trajectory.
A Rapidly Growing Company
Since wrapping up a pre-Series A round where they raised
$2.7 million, Ailytics has witnessed remarkable growth—expanding from
70 projects in four countries to over
400 projects across
15 countries. The company's origin can be traced back to Singapore, where it initially focused on social housing projects, but it has since undertaken significant initiatives including partnerships with major organizations such as
NatSteel,
DHL, and the
Leonardo da Vinci International Airport in Rome.
Lenard Tan, Ailytics' co-founder and CEO, stated, “This funding round will enhance our local teams in the USA, Japan, Australia, and Gulf nations, allowing us to focus on the challenging conditions of the industrial environment. We are building an international AI industrial technology company based in Singapore.”
Innovative AI Technology
Ailytics has developed a proprietary product named
Ailyssa, which achieves three-dimensional spatial understanding from single two-dimensional data. It operates effectively in adverse conditions such as rain, dust, and low light, and is compatible with cameras manufactured over a decade ago. This real-time analytics capability is crucial for making informed decisions in various operational contexts.
The newest reasoning engine,
AilyssaX, enhances the software’s ability to process context-rich scenes in motion and validates multi-step procedures, facilitating more precise alerts. “This funding will enable us to create our own, field-specific reasoning models while maintaining low AI operating costs amid increasing demand,” noted Prateek Manocha, Ailytics' co-founder and CTO.
Ailytics has now penetrated
15 markets with strong unit economic indicators, including customer churn rates below
1 percent. “We aim to continue supporting and standing alongside the team as they embark on their global expansion journey,” added Jeremy Tan, co-founder and managing partner at Tin Men Capital.
